Clara (Venderlic) Lege, 98, of West Leechburg, passed away on Thursday, February 2, 2023, in her residence.
A daughter of the late Marion and Leocadia Venderlic, she was born December 19, 1924 in Freeport, PA.
Clara was a homemaker who also had worked on the bottling line for Joseph F. Finch Co. Distillery in Schenley. She was a member of Christ the King Parish in Gilpin Township. She enjoyed watching the Pittsburgh Pirates and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband, Martin A. Lege of West Leechburg; a son, Daniel Lege (Paulette) of West Leechburg; a daughter, Michele Pasko (Don) of West Leechburg; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Carol Ann Lege; four brothers, John, Theodore, Stanley, and Karl Venderlic; and three sisters, Sabina Lasinski, Cecilia Venderlic, Violet Gianotti.
A private visitation and blessing service will be held for her family at the Clawson Funeral & Cremation Center, 170 Main St., Leechburg, 724-842-1051, with the Rev. James H. Loew, O.S.B. officiating. Private interment will follow at St. Catherine Cemetery in Gilpin Township.
