Cheryll Lynn Hooks, 67, of Allegheny Township, passed away on Saturday, December 24, 2022, in her residence.

A daughter of the late Walter R. Hooks and Marjorie A. (George) Hooks, she was born May 21, 1955 in Pittsburgh, PA.

Cheryll had been employed as a Quality Control Technician by Composidie in Apollo.  She was a volunteer with a local American Legion Post.  Cheryll loved animals, gardening, crafting and sewing, and rooting for Penn State and Steelers football teams.

Survivors include two daughters, Allison Visco (Brad) of Trafford, Jessica McWain (Patrick) of New Kensington; three grandchildren, Tayshaun Hawkins, Kiyah Hawkins, Kelsey Visco; and two brothers, Randy W. Hooks (Peggy) of North Apollo, Richard C. Hooks (Catherine) of Allegheny Township.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Melanie Gigliotti.

Friends will be welcomed by her family for a memorial gathering on Saturday, December 31, 2022 from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. at the Clawson Funeral & Cremation Center, 170 Main St., Leechburg, 724-842-1051.  Interment will be private.
