Catherine M. (Kolenchak) Pinker, 96, of Leechburg, passed Sunday, June 21, 2026, in her home.

A daughter of the late John Kolenchak and Anna (Segorek) Kolenchak, she was born February 24, 1930, in Banfield, PA.

Catherine worked in retail sales for Rubins Clothing Store for many years.  She had also been employed as an office clerk with Allegheny Ludlum in West Leechburg. Catherine was a member of Christ the King Parish in Gilpin Township where she was a very active volunteer.  She enjoyed playing cards, quilting, visiting casinos, taking trips with her “Squad”, and vacationing at the Outer Banks with her entire family.  Time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren, was her utmost pleasure.

She is survived by three children, Denise A. Crissman (Lance) of Monroe, Michigan, Jeff P. Pinker (Lynn) of Davis, Illinois, Beth A. Lilli (Guy) of Massillon, Ohio; five grandchildren, Scotty, Michael, Jay Paul, Cassie, Abby; two great-granddaughters, Vivi and Penny; a sister, Pauline Clowes of Arkansas; and numerous nieces and nephews and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Julius P. “Coy” Pinker in 2009; a grandson, Ryan L. Crissman in 2004; and siblings, Paul Kolenchak, Frank Kolenchak, John Kolenchak, Veronica Zeigler, Mary Miskinis, Josephine Pinella and Cecelia Christopher.

The family wishes to thank her caregiver, June Haskinis, and her prior caregivers, Alora and Alyssa, as well as AHN Hospice, for their kind and compassionate care of Catherine.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at Christ the King Parish, 125 Park Road, Gilpin Township, with the Rev. Alan N. Polczynski as celebrant. Private interment will follow in St. Catherine Cemetery in Gilpin Township.  Arrangements have been entrusted to the Clawson Funeral & Cremation Center, 170 Main St., Leechburg, 724-842-1051.  Donations in her name may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.  Condolences to the Pinker family may be offered at www.clawsonfuneralhome.com.
