Obituary
Betty Lou (Unger) Couch, 90, of Allegheny Township, passed away on Monday, March 20, 2023, in her residence.
A daughter of the late Frank Oscar Unger and Amanda Mae (Gifford) Unger, she was born April 30, 1932 in Cadogan, PA.
Betty was a homemaker and of the Methodist faith. She enjoyed crocheting, dancing, singing, bowling, playing pool and shuffle board, and putting together picture puzzles.
Survivors include her beloved and dedicated husband of 46 years, Trafford D. “Jeep” Couch of Allegheny Township; a son, William H. Knepshield (Christine) of West Leechburg; a daughter, Patty Jo Zanotti (James) of Leechburg; two grandsons, Eric Zanotti, Jason Zanotti (Tina); two great-grandchildren, Sawyar Zanotti, William Zanotti; and a step-great-granddaughter, Gia Hruska.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Diane Knepshield; a grandson, Joseph Held; and six sisters.
Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Life ceremony for Betty that will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 15, 2023 at Kiski Unity Free Methodist Church, 29 Greenbriar Dr., Leechburg (Allegheny Township). Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
