Barbara A. (Smith) Altman, 76, of Tionesta, formerly of Gilpin Township, passed away on Tuesday, September 5, 2023, in her residence.
A daughter of the late Mike Smith and Anna (Kostiuk) Smith, she was born April 26, 1947 in Natrona Heights, PA.
Barbara retired as a hairdresser after doing hair for over 25 years. She enjoyed cooking, baking, canning, quilting, basket weaving and gardening.
Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Dean A. Altman of Tionesta; her son, Eric L. Altman (Debra) of Tionesta; her grandson, Malachi Altman; and her brother, Michael J. Smith of Leechburg.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Marie C. Smith.
Arrangements are private and have been entrusted to the Clawson Funeral & Cremation Center, 170 Main St., Leechburg, 724-842-1051.
