Asher Nekoda Miller, 21, of Leechburg, passed away Sunday, August 31, 2025, at his home.  He was born in Orlando, Florida, on June 16, 2004, to Amanda Roppolo and Jason Miller.

Asher grew up in Leechburg, attending Leechburg Elementary and High Schools before graduating from Lenape Tech in 2022 with a degree in welding.  Asher is far more than anything that could be written on paper.

He loved his mama fiercely – everyone knew it because he never missed a chance to show it.  He would light up every room he walked into with his big, beautiful smile; and had the rare gift of being annoyingly good at absolutely everything he tried. Whether he was welding, riding his motorcycle, playing guitar, or dancing around the kitchen while baking, Asher approached life with energy, humor and so much heart.

He had a great love for his dogs, Diesel, Bristol, Mildred, and Margot (who once pooped in his bed, yet he still called her his Sweet Baby Angel). Also, we can’t forget his love for his bearded dragon, Junior. He had a soft spot for a good pair of boots, blue jeans, Marlboro Reds, Coors Banquet, and rocking a mullet like no one else could. He was an old soul, happiest at a bonfire surrounded by friends, lighting his mama’s garage on fire (four times!), or taking a long ride on his bike.

His Pap, Anthony Roppolo, was his very best friend, and their bond was one of the greatest joys of his life.   He also loves his family and friends deeply and wholeheartedly. The life of every party, Asher knew how to work hard, play hard, and bring laughter wherever he went. He wasn’t here for a long time, but he was most certainly here for a good time.  He made the world brighter, funnier, and more beautiful.

Asher is survived by his loving mother, Amanda Roppolo; his father, Jason Miller (Carlie); his Pap and best friend, Anthony Roppolo; his aunt, Leanne (Roppolo) Wardle; and his uncles, Dan and Paul Roppolo.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Donna Roppolo; and his cousin, Derek Roppolo.

Asher loved, and was loved, by so many, far too many to list – but if you’re reading this and smiling through the tears, you know you’re one of them.

Friends will be welcomed by his family on Friday, September 5, 2025, from 4-8 p.m. at the Clawson Funeral & Cremation Center, 170 Main St., Leechburg, 724-842-1051.  A Blessing service will be held in the funeral home at 11 a.m. on Saturday, September 6, with the Rev. Alan N. Polczynski officiating.  Private interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
