Anthony P. "Red" Romanowski Obituary

Anthony P. “Red” Romanowski, 75, of Kittanning, PA, passed away on Thursday, October 10, 2024, at Premier Armstrong Rehab. & Nursing Center in Kittanning.


A son of the late Anthony Stanley Romanowski and Irene Rita (Hadel) Romanowski, he was born on October 31, 1948, in New Kensington, PA.


Anthony was a veteran having served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.  For 32 years, he had been employed by Allegheny Ludlum Steel in Bagdad before retiring in 2006.  He also worked detailing cars and delivering auto parts for Kalmar Motors for 14 years.  He was of the Catholic faith and a member of the American Legion Posts #775 and #742.  Anthony enjoyed fishing and hunting.


Survivors include his wife of 31 years, Diane (Burdett) Romanowski of Kittanning; two sons, Michael Anthony Romanowski (Desiree Diane) of Eagle, Idaho, Jason Paul Romanowski (Amber) of Saltsburg; stepdaughter, Tawnya Goedicke (Mike) of Kepple Hill; stepson, Eric Fryer of Ford City; a sister, Mary Ann “Cookie” Romanik (Jerry) of Honesdale; and eight grandchildren.


All arrangements are private and have been entrusted to the Clawson Funeral & Cremation Center, 170 Main St., Leechburg, 724-842-1051.
