Annamarie (Vallino) Truffa, 86, of Leechburg, PA, passed away on Sunday, October 24, 2021 in her residence.
A daughter of the late Joseph Vallino and Mary (Trogolo) Vallino, she was born April 11, 1935, in Pittsburgh.
Annamarie worked as a registered nurse for Mercy Hospital in Pittsburgh and Allegheny Valley Hospital in Natrona Heights for 35 years of service before retiring in 1998. She was a member of Christ The King Parish in Gilpin Township. Annamarie enjoyed baking, gardening and reading. She was an avid football fan, especially when it came to the Steelers, Penn State, or Pitt.
Survivors include two sons, William Truffa of Leechburg, Kevin Truffa (Pamela) of Allison Park; two daughters, Melissa Truffa of Highland Park, IL, Lisa Truffa (Joseph Gates) of Searsmont, ME; a granddaughter, Anjilena Truffa; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Louis W. Truffa in 2009; and a brother, John Vallino.
Friends will be welcomed by her family on Friday, Oct. 29, 2021 from 3-7 p.m. at the Clawson Funeral & Cremation Center, 170 Main Street, Leechburg (724-842-1051) where a Blessing Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. James H. Loew, O.S.B. officiating. Private interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
