Anna L. “Nena” (Bolognia) Cuffia, 97, of Parks Twp., PA, passed away on Friday, March 2, 2018 at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh.
A daughter of the late John Bolognia and Mary (Rassa) Bolognia, she was born July 19, 1920 in Leechburg, PA.
Anna was 1938 graduate of Leechburg High School and a member of Christ the King Parish in Gilpin Twp. She had worked as a glass inspector with the Ford City Plant of Pittsburgh Plate Glass Company for 37 years until retiring in 1976. Anna was an original member of the Canal Street River Rats and a volunteer for the St. Vincent de Paul Society in Apollo. She enjoyed quilting and collecting antiques.
Survivors include several nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, and great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Cuffia; her brothers, John, Joseph, Martin and Louis Bolognia; and sisters, Madeline Garda and Rose Bolognia.
There will be no public visitation. Private funeral ceremonies will be held at Clawson Funeral & Cremation Center, 170 Main Street, Leechburg (724-842-1051). Interment following at St. Catherine Cemetery in Gilpin Twp.
