Angeline J. (Leporati) Mago

Angeline J. (Leporati) Mago, 97, of Harrison Twp., formerly of Gilpin Twp., passed away on Tuesday, September 26, 2023, at Harmar Village Care Center in Cheswick.

A daughter of the late Remigio Leporati and Margaret (Caveglia) Leporati, she was born on September 6, 1926 in West Leechburg, PA.

 Angeline was a secretary for St. Catherine’s Church for 33 years before retiring in 1999 and a member of the Christ the King Parish in Gilpin Twp., formerly St. Catherine R.C. Church.  She was a member of the Macroni Ladies Auxiliary, White Star of Freeport and the Leechburg Bowling League. She enjoyed crocheting, watching the Pirates and Steelers, and playing Bingo. Above all, she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

Survivors include her children, Anthony Paul Mago of Leechburg, Martin Mago (Jane) of Sarver, and Jean L. Klingensmith (Larry) of Natrona Heights; three grandchildren, Christopher Mago (Jessica) of Butler, Levi Mago of Sarver, and Jonathan Mago of Sarver; four great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Lisa Gradwell who passed away in infancy; brother, Paul Leporati; and sisters, Marie Gallo and Christina Leporati.
