Rodney D. Fouse

Rodney D. “Babe” Fouse, 80, of Bethel Twp., PA, passed away Friday morning, August 24, 2018 at West Penn Hospital in Pittsburgh.

Born March 26, 1938 in Hyde Park, PA, he was the youngest child of the late Elmer and Jennie (Held) Fouse.

Babe was retired from Allegheny Ludlum Steel (Bagdad Plant).  A loving and devoted husband, father, and “Papa”, he enjoyed archery, antique cars, football, hockey, hanging out in Hyde Park, and most of all, his children and grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Constance (Brooks) Fouse; his sons, Shawn Fouse of Ford City, PA, and Carl Wise and his wife Joy of Berkeley Springs, WV; five grandchildren:  Joshua Wise of Kearneysville, WV, Jacob Wise of Hagerstown, MD, Cameron Fouse of Butler, PA, Zachary Wise of Berkeley Springs, WV, Brooke (Fouse) Wilson and her husband Austin of Kittaning, PA; his brothers, Don Fouse of Allegheny Twp., PA, and Richard P. Fouse of San Antonio, TX.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Kenneth and Robert Fouse; and two sisters, Ruth Sanford and Genevieve Yonek.

Friends welcomed by his family on Friday, August 31, 2018 from 5-7 PM at Clawson Funeral & Cremation Center, 170 Main Street, Leechburg (724-842-1051) followed by funeral ceremonies beginning at 7 PM.  Private interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
