Robert J. Fulton, 90, of Gilpin Twp., PA, passed away on Friday, September 28, 2018 at Good Samaritan Hospice in Cabot.
A son of the late Alexander Fulton and Mary (Christy) Fulton, he was born February 23, 1928 in Kiskiminetas Twp., Armstrong Co., PA.
Robert was employed by Allegheny Ludlum Steel Corp. Bagdad plant as a gas analyzer in the laboratory for 29 years retiring in 1990. He was a veteran having served in the U.S. Navy. Robert was a member of the First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Leechburg. He enjoyed woodworking, gardening, small machine repair and watching the Pittsburgh Steelers and Penguins.
Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Lois J. (Klingensmith) Fulton of Gilpin Twp., PA; a son, Robert W. Fulton (Donna J.) of Rockville, MD; three grandchildren: Alexander, Garrett and Katherine Fulton; a great-grandson, Jack Fulton; two brothers, Victor Fulton and James Fulton (Romayne), of Washington Twp., PA.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Evelyn King; and brothers, Doyle and Paul Fulton and an infant brother.
Friends welcomed by his family on Monday, October 1, 2018 from 5-7 PM at Clawson Funeral & Cremation Center, 170 Main Street, Leechburg (724-842-1051) where funeral ceremonies will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday, Oct. 2, with the Rev. James V. Arter III officiating. Interment following at Evergreen Cemetery, 620 Evergreen Road, Gilpin Twp.
