Mary E. (Hoffer) Kish

Mary E. (Hoffer) Kish, 90, of Leechburg, PA, passed away on Wednesday,March 7, 2018 at Allegheny Valley Hospital in Natrona Heights.

A daughter of the late Louis J. Hoffer Sr. and Mary Ann (Holenchick) Hoffer, she was born May 17, 1927 in Leechburg, PA.

Mary was a homemaker, member of the former St. Martha Roman Catholic Church in Leechburg.  She enjoyed painting, gardening, cooking, baking, going to concerts, feeding and watching birds and especially spending time with her family.

Survivors include her two daughters, Joan Adele Arroyo of Allegheny Twp., PA, and Terri E. Kish of Roscoe, PA; four grandchildren, Josh, Brandon, Marilyn and Angelique; four great-grandsons, Lucca, Bryan, Braylon and Quenton; two sisters, Marjorie Shannon (Franklin) of Parks Twp., PA, and Carole Yesensky (Michael) of Glenn Ellen, IL; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Charles Richard Kish in May 1996; brothers, Steve, Joseph, Louis and John Hoffer; an infant brother, Joseph; sisters, Ann Mango and Josephine Cupka.

Friends welcomed by her family on Monday, March 12, 2018 from 10 AM until the time of services at Noon at Pleasant View Brethren Church, 1156 Pleasant View Drive, Vandergrift, with Pastor Todd W. Ruggles officiating.  Interment following at St. Catherine Cemetery, 614 Evergreen Road, Gilpin Twp.    Arrangements have been entrusted to the Clawson Funeral & Cremation Center, 170 Main Street, Leechburg (724-842-1051).
