Marietta Jean (Ashbaugh) Muffley, 89, of West Leechburg, PA, passed away on Saturday, October 28, 2017 at West Haven Manor.
A daughter of the late Harold “Tucker” Ashbaugh and Wanda Fonda (Wagg) Ashbaugh, she was born June 29, 1928, in Leechburg, PA.
Marietta was a homemaker. “You’re my best companion for 42 years” from her husband, Bill Muffley.
She had three sons, Rev. Joseph Tira (Kathleen) of Washington State, Randy L. Tira (Carol) of Leonardtown, MD, and Dennis G. Tira (deceased); 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Kathleen Klingensmith, Lillie and Georgie.
All arrangements will be private and have been entrusted to Clawson Funeral & Cremation Center, 170 Main Street, Leechburg (724-842-1051). Her family requests that no flowers or food be sent to Bill’s residence.
