Margaret Annabel (Gamble) Serafine Lardin, 82, of Shelocta, PA, passed away on Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh.

A daughter of the late Michael Gamble and Ella (Mason) Gamble, she was born April 20, 1935, in Kelly Station (Bethel Twp.), PA.

Margaret was a homemaker and member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Indiana, PA, as well as the Tri-State County Music Association Chapter 17 in Indiana, PA.  She enjoyed crocheting, fishing and visiting the sick.

Survivors include her husband, Paul E. Lardin of Shelocta, PA; son, Robert E. Prunty (Janet) of Kelly Station (Bethel Twp.), PA, John H. Burns (Colleen) of Beaver Creek (Dayton), OH; daughters, Debra Serene (Daniel) of Vandergrift, PA, Lois A. Burns of Indiana, PA; stepsons, Paul Lardin of Jeannette, PA, Mark Lardin of New Kensington, PA, Larry Lardin of Wyoming; stepdaughters, Anna Lardin of Natrona Heights, PA, Connie Lardin of New Kensington, PA, Becky Lardin of Florida; brothers, Raymond Gamble (Marjorie) of Greenwood, LA and Merle Gamble of Tarentum, PA; 12 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; numerous great-great-grandchildren; 12 step-grandchildren; numerous step-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Joseph O. Serafine on December 29, 1996; sons, Richard N. Burns, James S. Burns and James Serafine; stepsons, James M. Lardin and Elwood Paul Lardin; brothers, William, Robert, Frank, George, Jesse, John and Raymond Gamble; and sister, Violet Croyle.

Friends welcomed by her family on Saturday, May 13, 2017 from 1-3 and 5-7 PM at Clawson Funeral & Cremation Center, 170 Main Street, Leechburg (724-842-1051) where funeral ceremonies will begin at 7 PM following visitation, with the Reverend Glenn Props officiating.  Private interment will be held at Riverview Cemetery, Kiski Twp.  Condolences to the Lardin family may be offered at  www.clawsonfuneralhome.com.
