Kenneth L. Davis, 84, of Gilpin Twp., PA, passed away on Thursday, June 22, 2017 at Allegheny Valley Hospital in Natrona Heights.

A son of the late Harold Davis and Sarah (Wise) Davis, he was born July 18, 1932, in Burrell Township, Armstrong County, PA.

Kenneth was honorably discharged as a U.S. Army veteran having served in the Korean Conflict as an infantryman.  He retired from Adams Steel Erection of Kittanning as an Operating Engineer.  He was of the Lutheran faith and a member of Union Local 66 for 32 years.  He was also a Mason of the Seneca Lodge 805 of  Kittanning.  Kenneth enjoyed hunting and fishing and loved spending time with his grandsons.

Survivors include his step-son, Robert C. Cribbs Jr. (Corrine) of Gilpin Twp., PA; two grandchildren, Robert and Logan Cribbs; a son, Kenneth Davis (Patty) of Elderton; two daughters, Linda and Bonnie Davis of Reynoldsville, PA; a brother, Clinton Davis (Peggy) of Stowe, OH; an uncle, Donald Davis (Larue) of Burrell Twp., PA; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 15 years, Rosalind (Bierer) Cribbs Davis in 2013; a brother, Robert Davis; and his step-father, Robert Shaffer.

There was no public visitation or funeral ceremonies.  Interment was held at the convenience of the family in Forks Zion Lutheran Church Cemetery in Gilpin Twp.
