John F. Prager Jr.

John F. Prager Jr., 74, of Allegheny Twp., PA, passed away on Sunday, August 5, 2018 at Allegheny Valley Hospital in Natrona Heights.

A son of the late John F. Prager Sr. and Ella Ruth (McCracken) Prager, he was born April 24, 1944 in Natrona Heights, PA.

John enjoyed playing music with Wayne Hart and the Pure Country band, watching the Pirates play, fishing and spending time with his family.

Survivors include his two sons, Jason R. Prager of Saxonburg, PA and John F. Prager III of Allegheny Twp., PA; a daughter, Tonia L. Martin (William) of Vandergrift, PA; five grandchildren; a brother, Donald Prager (Jody) of Cleveland, OH; two sisters, Janice Schuller (John) of Sarver, PA and Betty Bias of Madison, WV.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Ann (Slivan) Prager in June 2009; and a sister, Ruth Ann Berry.

There will be no public visitation.  Private interment will be held at the convenience of the family.  A memorial service will be held at a later date.
