Janice K. (Howells) Gasbarro, 72, of Leechburg, PA, passed away on Saturday, July 29, 2017 at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh.

A daughter of the late Clifton Russell Howells and Dorothy (Wilson) Howells, she was born March 22, 1945, in Avonmore, PA.

Janice was a homemaker and graduate of Slippery Rock University having earned a Bachelor’s degree.  She enjoyed making crafts, reading and going to the casinos in Atlantic City, NJ.

Survivors include her husband of 50 years, James Gasbarro of Leechburg, PA; a son, Russell Gasbarro (Tanya) of Leechburg, PA; three grandchildren, Joshua Gasbarro, Megan Archibald and Austin Lang; and a sister, Carol Zatko of Leechburg, PA.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Lisa Lang.

There will be no public visitation or funeral ceremonies.  Interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
