Harry Joseph Warnick, 87, of West Leechburg, PA, passed away on Sunday, July 8, 2018 at Good Samaritan Hospice Inpatient Unit at Cabot.
A son of the late Harry Kenneth Warnick and Velma (Harringer) Warnick, he was born March 16, 1931 in Reynoldsville, PA.
Harry had been employed as a supervisor with Allegheny Ludlum Steel in Bagdad for 40 years before retiring in 1994. He was a member of the Holy Innocents Anglican Church in Leechburg. Harry enjoyed hunting, going to camp and spending time with his family.
Survivors include his wife of 68 years, Helen L. (Rare) Warnick of West Leechburg, PA; his son, Terry Lee Warnick (Beth) of Kittanning Twp., PA; three daughters: Linda E. Sappe (Eugene) of Gilpin Twp., PA, Nancy Eyler (Joel) of Allegheny Twp., PA and Trudy E. Hemphill (Tim) of Springdale, PA; six grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; a brother, Scott Warnick (Marylou) of State College, PA; three sisters: Helen Pegnetter of Reynoldsville, PA, Bernice Buchheit of Big Run, PA and Dorothy Haddow of Cape Coral, FL; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Jason E. Sappe.
Friends welcomed by his family on Thursday, July 12, 2018 from 6-8 PM at Clawson Funeral & Cremation Center, 170 Main Street, Leechburg (724-842-1051). Funeral ceremonies will be held at 10:30 AM on Friday, July 13, at Holy Innocents Anglican Church, 366 Third St., Leechburg, with the Rev. Jeffrey S. Wylie officiating. Interment following at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, 1030 Pleasant Hill Rd., Allegheny Twp.
