gabe, a super nice man whom i first met in the 1970s asked me to coach the fledgling at big league baseball team. his support and friendshlp were key towards building a great foundation for many young men. thank you from all of us who shared in that process.

Sue and family, My heart goes out to each of you. Gabe really loved people and always wanted to be helpful..Gabe and Sue were dear fiends and Gabe was also my boss for 10 years. Fred Hoculock is my dad. He told me that he ran into Gabe recently at Giant Eagle, and knowing about their political rivalry from years ago, I thought 'uh oh', but he said they had a very enjoyable conversation where they found some common ground, especially on how they did most of the work hands-on themselves while in office as township supervisors, compared to how things are done today. I was glad to hear that they had that moment before Gabe passed away. My deepest sympathies to Tim, Pat, Eric, Sue and the rest of the family.

I have many fond memories of Gabe. He watched me grow up from infancy to adulthood! I will always remember Gabe's love for his dogs (Yogi was a fixture of my childhood memories!), as well as the care that he put in to his large backyard garden. Many fun summer days playing with Miranda, especially on the swing set! Gabe will be missed by all.
