My condolences on the passing of G. Paul and I am sorry I cannot be with you all at this time. G. Paul always put us kids first, he spent numerous hours and road miles taking us fun places before we could drive we have great memories of him for doing this. G. Paul was my adopted Dad after my father passed away he always gave me good advice about life, he is the reason I chose Law Enforcement for a profession and I don't regret doing that. G. Paul was devoted to his family, his profession and his fellow man. G. Paul as we say in Law Enforcement rest in peace " we have it from here"

Virginia, Lisa and Mark:
Thinking about all of you and praying you find peace during this difficult time. When Lisa and I were growing up, Gasper was always there, ready to step in with some fatherly advice for both of us when we needed it, which was quite often. He continued to do so throughout our lives, always remaining calm and loving even during the most difficult times. He was a wonderful man with a huge, kind heart who will be missed dearly. Rest in peace, G. Paul. ♥

Paul was one of the finest men that I have ever known. A man of fairness, conviction and dedication to the law enforcement profession and to his peers. I always enjoyed having breakfast with him and listening to his many stories.
There are few men of his caliber around anymore and he will be greatly missed by myself and a multitude of law enforcement friends and of course his family.
More people showld model their lives after G. Paul Simon. There would be a lot less trouble in the world.
