Bernadette A. "Mitzi" (Grassell) Seibel

Bernadette A. “Mitzi” (Grassell) Seibel, 86, of Parks Twp., PA, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at Forbes Regional Hospital in Monroeville.

She was born August 17, 1931 in Pittsburgh, PA.

Bernadette was a homemaker, wonderful cook and baker.  She was the best Mom in the world!  She was a member of Christ the King Parish in Gilpin Twp.  Bernadette enjoyed going to flea markets and traveling with her husband.

Survivors include her daughters, Cheryl A. Seibel and Debra L. Smith, both of Vandergrift, PA; seven grandchildren, Jennifer (Sam), Chris, Chad (Kacie), Billy, Jamie (Melissa), Kristin (Myron) and Lindsey (Derek); eleven great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and a great-granddog, Winnie.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene F. Seibel Sr. in 2002; her sons, David M. Seibel and Eugene F. Seibel Jr.; and son-in-law, Charles “Chuck” Smith.

Friends will be welcomed by her family on Saturday, April 14, 2018 from 11 AM until the time of funeral ceremonies at 1 PM at Clawson Funeral & Cremation Center, 170 Main Street, Leechburg (724-842-1051).  Interment following at St. Catherine Cemetery, 614 Evergreen Road, Gilpin Twp.  Condolences to the Seibel family may be offered at www.clawsonfuneralhome.com
