William L. Caveglia, 84, of West Leechburg, PA, passed away on Saturday, June 11, 2016 Concordia Good Samaritan Hospice Unit, Cabot.

A son of the late Robert  Caveglia and Corina (Anselmo) Caveglia, he was born January 28, 1932.

William was a member of Christ the King Parish, Gilpin Township.  He was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served during the Korean War.  For over 20 years, William worked as a letter carrier for the United States Postal Service.  He enjoyed traveling and woodworking.

Survivors include his son, Chris Caveglia (Julie) of Brooklyn, New York.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ann (Kertes) Cavelgia, who died January 23, 2012; and two brothers, James and Robert Caveglia.

Friends welcomed by his family on Tuesday, June 14, 2016 from 4-7 PM at Clawson Funeral & Cremation Center, 170 Main Street, Leechburg (724-842-1051) where Parting Prayers of Transfer will be held at 9:45 AM on Wednesday, followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM at Christ the King Parish, 125 Park Road, Gilpin Twp. with the Reverend James H. Loew, O.S.B. officiating.  Interment following at St. Catherine Cemetery, 614 Evergreen Road, Leechburg.
