Suzanne (Fryer) Johns, 77, of Allegheny Twp., PA, passed away on Sunday, December 10, 2017 at Good Samaritan Hospice Unit at Concordia in Cabot..
A daughter of the late Sam Fryer and Anna Georgia (Baynor) Fryer, she was born May 30, 1940, in Natrona Heights, PA.
Suzanne was a graduate of Penn State University. She had been employed as a teacher at Arnold High School for 25 years before retirement. Suzanne was a member of the Hebron Evangelical Lutheran Church in Leechburg. She enjoyed sewing, fashion, and watching Penn State and Pittsburgh Steelers football.
Survivors include her husband of 45 years, Harry Johns of Allegheny Twp., PA; and a cousin, Martha Young (Terry) of Leechburg, PA.
Friends welcomed by her family on Thursday, December 14, 2017 from 11 AM until the time of ceremonies at 1:00 PM at Clawson Funeral & Cremation Center, 170 Main Street, Leechburg (724-842-1051) with the Reverend James V. Arter III officiating. Interment following at Greenwood Memorial Park, 104 Melwood Rd., Lower Burrell.
