Shirley J. (Reese) Caracciolo, 77, of Gilpin Twp., PA, passed away on Wednesday, June 7, 2017 in her residence.

A daughter of the late Ernest Reese and Grace (Ream) Reese, she was born October 16, 1939, in Pittsburgh (Homestead), PA.

Shirley was a homemaker who enjoyed nature and was of the Methodist faith.

Survivors include her husband of 59 years, Matthew S. Caracciolo of Gilpin Twp., PA; her children, Lisa McCoy (Ken) of Gilpin Twp., PA, Linda Williams of Iowa, and Matthew C. Caracciolo of Iowa; three grandchildren, Jamie Overholt (Nelson), Tara Caracciolo and Juan Caracciolo; and a great-grandson, Caleb Weston.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Allen James Caracciolo; a son-in-law, Steve Williams; and a brother Robert Reese.

There will be no public visitation or funeral ceremonies.  Interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
