Robert L. Zinn, 67, of Leechburg, PA, passed away on Thursday, October 26, 2017 at Allegheny Valley Hospital in Natrona Heights.

A son of the late William Zinn and Henrietta (Gibson) Zinn, he was born May 2, 1950, in Kittanning, PA.

Robert had been employed by Allied as a security guard for over 15 years before retirement.  He was a veteran having served as a Sergeant in the U.S. Air Force during the Viet Nam War.  Robert was of the Methodist faith, member of the Vandergrift American Legion #114 and a lifetime member of the Leechburg VFW Post.  He enjoyed watching western movies and football, especially being an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan.

Survivors include his wife of 29 years, Bonnie L. (Couch) Zinn of Leechburg, PA; a stepson, Brian Farster (Kellie) of Parks Twp., PA; a grandson, Colton Farster; a sister, Judy Rabb (Virgil) of Arnold, PA; a half-brother, William Zinn (Ruby); and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, October 30, 2017 at 11 AM at Clawson Funeral & Cremation Center, 170 Main Street, Leechburg (724-842-1051) with the Chaplain Billie Harlan officiating.  Interment will be private at the convenience of his family.
