Philamina G. “Mina” (Kalinowsky) Hepler, 85, of Allegheny Twp., Leechburg, PA, passed away on Thursday, September 29, 2016 at Allegheny Valley Hospital in Natrona Heights, PA.

A daughter of the late Earnest Kalinowsky and Philamina A. “Phil” (Derringer) Kalinowsky, she was born May 6, 1931, in Natrona Heights, Allegheny County, PA.

Philamina was of the Lutheran faith and had been a member of the former St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Tarentum.  For 40 years, she had been employed by Angel Sales as a Tupperware Manager.  Mina was a member of the Community Ladies of Allegheny Twp. and active in the Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts.  She enjoyed watching and feeding the birds, flowers and gardening, canning, crocheting, and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Survivors include two sons, George Hepler (Charlotte) of Georgia and Keith A. Hepler (Carolynn) of Allegheny Twp., PA; two daughters, Debra J. Farster (Gary) of Allegheny Twp., PA and Cynthia L. Rothrauff (Charles) of Virginia; four grandchildren, Dee Dee Willard (Paul), Ginger Montgomery (Thomas), Cassandra Rothrauff and Catherine Saylor (Erik); two brothers, Earnest Kalinowsky (Lydia) of Maryland and Louis Kalinowsky (Rosemary) of Knox, PA.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Sam Hepler in 1970; a grandson, Russel Farster; and a sister, Roxanne Evanski.

Friends welcomed by her family on Tuesday, October 4, 2016 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at Clawson Funeral & Cremation Center, 170 Main Street, Leechburg (724-842-1051) where funeral ceremonies will be held at 8:00 PM with the Reverend James V. Arter III officiating.  Interment will be held at Greenwood Memorial Park, 104 Melwood Road, Lower Burrell.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the National Aviary, 700 Arch St., Pittsburgh, PA 15212.
