Pauline S. (Fondrk) Pirone, 93, of West Leechburg, PA, passed away on Monday, March 27, 2017 at Saxony Health Center in Saxonburg.

A daughter of the late John Fondrk and Eva (Hoffer) Fondrk, she was born August 20, 1923, in Hyde Park, PA.

Pauline was a homemaker who had been employed on the bottling lines at the Schenley Plant of J.S. Finch Co., later working at the Mastarone Mushroom Farm in West Leechburg.  She retired from the Double Delta Burners in Allegheny Twp.  Pauline was a member of Christ the King Parish in Gilpin Twp. and the former St. Anne’s Guild at St. Martha’s Church in Leechburg.  She enjoyed gardening, working jigsaw and crossword puzzles, dancing and going on vacations with her family.

Survivors include a daughter, Elaine A. Silicki (Joseph) of Beaver, PA; a grandson, Matthew D. Silicki (Dana); and a granddaughter, Jamie V. Silicki; two great-grandchildren, Autumn and Cody Silicki.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James V. Pirone on April 8, 1971; a daughter, Yvonne Pirone in 1947; a son, Richard D. Pirone in 1996; a grandson, Paul C. Silicki in 1981; three brothers, Joseph, John and Adam Fondrk; four sisters, Anna R. Sulava, Catherine A. DeFelice, Mary E. Sulava and an infant sister, Helen Fondrk.

Friends welcomed by her family on Thursday, March 30, 2017 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at Clawson Funeral & Cremation Center, 170 Main Street, Leechburg (724-842-1051).  Parting Prayers of Transfer will be held at Noon on Friday at the funeral home, followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 12:30 PM at Christ the King Parish, 125 Park Road, Gilpin Twp., with the Reverend Kenneth Zaccagnini officiating.  Interment following at St. Catherine Cemetery, 614 Evergreen Rd., Gilpin Twp.
