Nancy Isabelle (Bopp) Lingenfelter, 98, of Allegheny Twp., PA, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 13, 2016 at Pleasant Ridge Mature Living in Allegheny Township.

A daughter of the late John Franklin Bopp and Nancy (Shaner) Bopp, she was born June 3, 1918, in Leechburg, PA.

Nancy was a homemaker and long-term caregiver. She was a member of Hebron Evangelical Lutheran Church in Leechburg and enjoyed gardening.

Survivors include a sister, Helen Shaffer of Allegheny Twp., PA; a brother, John Bopp of Gilpin Twp., PA; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, William Giron and Melvin Lingenfelter; sister, Mildred Smail; and nephew, Russell Smail.

At her family’s request, visitation and funeral ceremonies will be private at Clawson Funeral & Cremation Center, 170 Main Street, Leechburg (724-842-1051).  Interment will be made at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, 1030 Pleasant Hill Rd., Allegheny Twp.

Donations in honor of Nancy may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 1100 Liberty Ave., Pittsburgh, PA 15222.
