Marilyn Elaine (Bowman) Huska, 67 of Hyde Park, PA, passed away on Wednesday, July 20, 2016 at Forbes Regional Hospital in Monroeville.

A daughter of the late Clyde Bowman and Myrtle (Conner) Bowman, she was born January 17, 1949, in Natrona Heights, PA, Allegheny County.

Marilyn worked at many retail jewelry stores in the Pittsburgh area as a Fine Jewelry Sales Associate.  She was a member of St. Gertrude Roman Catholic Church in Vandergrift and the American Kennel Club.  As an accomplished Breeder and Show dog handler she produced four champions.  In addition to dog showing, Marilyn was an exceptionally talented seamstress who also enjoyed crocheting, ceramics, listening to all types of music and baking (especially when helping to raise funds for charitable organizations).

Survivors include her husband of 49 years, Paul A. Huska of Hyde Park, PA; her two sons, Paul “Paulie” Huska Jr. of Penn Hills, PA, and Brian D. Huska of Wilmerding, PA; her daughter, Marcella “Marcy” Kline (David) of Gilpin Twp., PA; two grandchildren, Justin and Logan; a brother, Mark Bowman (Laurie) of Vandergrift, PA; two sisters, Barbara Miller (Carl) of Aliquippa, PA, and Alice Lauff of New Kensington, PA; several nieces and a nephew.

She was preceded in death by her parents and granddaughter Marie.

There will be no public visitation.  Funeral ceremonies will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, July 25, 2016 at the Clawson Funeral & Cremation Center, 170 Main Street, Leechburg (724-842-1051) with the Reverend Lee Rupert officiating.  Interment following at St. Mary’s Cemetery,3380 Leechburg Road , Lower Burrell.
