Margaret B. (Bernat) Solonichne, 94, of West Leechburg, PA, passed away on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at Quality Life Services (West Haven Manor) in Washington Twp.

A daughter of the late Joseph Bernat and Mary (Grivalsky) Bernat, she was born February 23, 1923, in East Vandergrift, PA.

Margaret had been employed by the Joseph S. Finch Distillery Schenley Plant as a floor worker in the Bottling Dept. for 20 years before retiring in 1974. She was a former member of St. Martha Roman Catholic Church in Leechburg. Margaret enjoyed doing crossword puzzles and flower gardening.

Surviving is her son, Andrew T. Solonichne of South Park, PA.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Solonichne in 2005.

There will be no visitation or funeral ceremonies. Interment will be private at the convenience of her family.
