Survivors include her stepdaughter, Mary K. Canzano (David), of Parks Township, PA; three brothers, Joseph Surace, of Dayton, OH, Anthony Surace, II, of San Diego, CA, and Thomas F. Surace, of Forest Hills, PA; and one granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Anthony and Louise (Toteda) Surace; her husband, Dr. John A. Bauer, on December 1, 1995; brother, Carmine G. Surace; two sisters, Frances Bracco and Mary S. Williams; and her friend and companion, Anthony Amaranto.

At the request of Mrs. Bauer, memorials may be made in her memory to the Casino Theater Restoration Project, Vandergrift, PA 15690.
