Florence I. "Mickey" (Mortimer) Eshelman, 86, of Hyde Park, PA, passed away on Wednesday, September 23, 2015, in Sunrise Assisted Living of Upper St. Clair, Upper St. Clair Township, PA.

Born November 2, 1928, in New Kensington, PA, she was the daughter of the late William Smith and Mary Iva (Beck) Mortimer.

Mickey was the owner/operator of Mickey's Roses to remember serving bereaved families throughout the Alle-Kiski Valley area for many years. She was formerly employed in the medical records department at Allegheny Valley Hospital from 1973 through 1978. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, in Leechburg, PA.

Survivors include her son, Randy S. Eshelman (Linda), of Pittsburgh, PA; her daughter, Kimberly A. Mathews (Robert), of Parkersburg, WV; and three grandchildren, Jaclyn Smith (Sean), Jordan Mathews, and Ean Eshelman.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Francis H. "Tunk" Eshelman, who passed away on May 31, 2011; her two brothers, Jack Mortimer and Robert Mortimer; and her two sisters, Ruth Provance and Gertrude Mortimer who passed away in infancy.

Friends welcomed by her family on Sunday from 12 Noon - 2 PM at Clawson Funeral & Cremation Center, 170 Main Street, Leechburg (724/842-1051) where funeral ceremonies will be held at 2 PM, with her pastor, the Rev. Jerrad R. Peterman, officiating. Entombment will be made at Greenwood Mausoleum, Lower Burrell, PA.
