Eva Gay (Brown) Williams, 81, of West Leechburg, PA, passed away on Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at Saxony Healthcare Center in Saxonburg.

A daughter of the late Walter Brown and Nellie (Ross) Brown, she was born July 30, 1935, in Apollo, PA.

Eva was of the Christian faith, and owner of the Town Tavern in West Leechburg.  She was an avid bird watcher who enjoyed gardening, playing pool, bowling, playing cards with her friends, cooking, traveling, going to various casinos and spending time with her family and her dogs.

Survivors include her husband of 40 years, Richard James “Jim” Williams of West Leechburg, PA; three granddaughters, Jennifer, Carla and Kelly; 13 great-grandchildren; a great-great-granddaughter; a sister, Mary Ann Smith (James) of Lyndora, PA; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Walter and Lloyd Brown; and a sister, Berthann Pennington.

Friends welcomed by her family on Thursday, July 13, 2017 from 3 PM until the time of services at 4 PM at Clawson Funeral & Cremation Center, 170 Main Street, Leechburg (724-842-1051).   Interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
