Dorothy L. (Klingensmith) Klingensmith, 91, of Latrobe, PA, passed away on Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at Brookdale of Latrobe.

A daughter of the late Wells Gideon Klingensmith and Margaret (Jack) Klingensmith, she was born June 11, 1925, in Jonetta, PA, Armstrong County.

Dorothy was a homemaker and member of the Forks Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Gilpin Twp.  She was a charter member of the Gilpin Twp. Ladies Auxiliary and enjoyed spending time with her family.

Survivors include her husband of 73 years, George Lewis Klingensmith of Latrobe, PA; two sons, George Klingensmith Jr. of Vandergrift, PA, and Mark Todd Klingensmith of Blairsville, PA; two daughters, Cheryl Stankiewicz (James) of Belle Vernon, PA, and Rose Klingensmith of Loyalhanna, PA; eight grandchildren, Stephen, Brenda, Brett, Rochelle, Jimmy, Patrick, Jesse and Isabella; and nine great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth Klingensmith in 1967; two brothers, Walter and Myron Klingensmith; and a sister, Sara Ray.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, December 23, 2016 at Forks Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, 253 Forks Church Road, Gilpin Twp. with the Rev. Richard Grance officiating.  Arrangements have been entrusted to the Clawson Funeral & Cremation Center, 170 Main Street, Leechburg (724-842-1051).
