Dolores G. (Heinrich) Mamros, 70, of West Leechburg, PA, passed away on Saturday, November 4, 2017 at Good Samaritan Hospice, Concordia.

A daughter of the late Alban Heinrich and Ann (Uhrmacher) Heinrich, she was born September 15, 1947, in Erie, PA.

Dolores had started her working life at Stanford Lumber when she moved to this area, then was employed as a secretary for 25 years with the Leechburg School District before retiring in 2009.  Most recently she served as tax collector for West Leechburg.  She was a member of Christ the King Parish in Gilpin Twp. and the former St. Catherine R.C. Church in Leechburg.  She was also a member of the West Leechburg Crime Watch organization and avid booster for the Leechburg Area Football Team.

Dolores had a kind and loving nature with a forgiving heart who was always willing to help anyone in need, especially her family.  She enjoyed crocheting, baking, gardening, doing ceramics and going to the casinos with her husband.  Most of all she loved being a grandmother.

Survivors include her son, Christopher Mamros (Debbie) of Iowa; three grandchildren, Josh, Ben and Ali Mamros; three sisters, Patricia Wieser (Frank) of Erie, PA, Mary Alice Heckart of Michigan, Theresa Heinrich of Oakmont, PA; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George J. Mamros on September 14, 2017; a brother, Bernard Heinrich; a sister, Ann Marie Hubert; and an infant sister, Margaret Mary Heinrich.

Friends welcomed by her family on Tuesday, November 7, 2017 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at Clawson Funeral & Cremation Center, 170 Main Street, Leechburg (724-842-1051).  Parting Prayers of Transfer will be held at 11:45 AM on Wednesday, Nov. 8, at the funeral home, followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 12:30 PM at Christ the King Parish, 125 Park Road, Gilpin Twp., with the Reverend James H. Loew, O.S.B. officiating.  Interment following at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, 1030 Pleasant Hill Road, Allegheny Twp.
