Darla Joy (Rose) Voyten, 62, of Kiskimere, PA, passed away on Sunday, November 13, 2016 in her residence.

A daughter of the late Robert E. Rose Sr. and Betty (Morford) Rose, she was born January 15, 1954, in Natrona Heights, PA.

Darla had been employed by the J.C. Penney Hair Salon for 10 years and also worked as a CNA with Platinum Ridge Nursing Home for 10 years.  She enjoyed crocheting, watching movies, dining out, fishing with her husband, and spending time with her grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband of four years, John Voyten of Kiskimere, PA; two sons, Brandon Burns (Kasey Jackson) of Gilpin Twp., PA, Donavon Burns (Danielle Legarsky) of Parks Twp., PA; four daughters, Laurie Ann Voyten of Vandergrift, PA, Mary Cathrine Voyten of Churchill, PA, Leah Rebecca Voyten (J.J. Prugh) of Apollo, PA, Gwen Lynn (Voyten) Toy (Jeff) of Parks Twp., PA; 11 grandchildren, Xavier, Chase and Cruz Burns, Andrew and Miranda McDermott, Adam Prugh, Ethan and Colin Joyner, Johnathan, Logan and Zachary Toy; a brother, Cliff Rose of Upper Burrell, PA; and a nephew, Shane Rose of Upper Burrell, PA.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Robert E. Rose Jr.

Friends welcomed by her family on Tuesday, November 15, 2016 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at Clawson Funeral & Cremation Center, 170 Main Street, Leechburg (724-842-1051) where funeral ceremonies will begin at 8:00 p.m. with Carole Pennington officiating.  Interment will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at Greenwood Memorial Park, 104 Melwood Road, Lower Burrell.
