Bonnie L. (Hampson) Mahan, formerly of Vandergrift, PA, passed away on Monday, November 16, 2015, in Sugar Creek Rest Nursing Home, Worthington, PA.
Born in Saxonburg, PA, she was the daughter of the late Raymond J. and Virginia M. (Lewetag) Hampson.
Bonnie was a homemaker; a member of the West Penn Sportsman's Club, in Murrysville, PA, and served in the United States Army. She enjoyed trapshooting, raising dogs, fishing and feeding wildlife.
Survivors include a son-in-law, Tim Culp, of Kiski Township, PA; a daughter, Sherry Lynn Schultz, of Erie, PA; a brother, James Hampson (Carol), of Louisiana; a sister, Penny Klingensmith (Gordon), of Creighton, PA, and 2 grandchildren, Janey Lee Culp and Timmy L. Culp, both of Kiski Township, PA.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James W. Mahan, on May 6, 2010; a daughter, Sandy Lee Mahan, and a sister, Patricia Hampson.
Friends welcomed by her family on Friday from 6-8 PM at Clawson Funeral & Cremation Center, 170 Main Street, Leechburg (724/842-1051). Entombment will be held on Saturday at 10 AM in Greenwood Memorial Park Mausoleum, 104 Melwood Road, Lower Burrell, PA, with military honors by the Vandergrift Veterans Honor Guard.
