Survivors include her son, John A. Pityk (Kimm), of Hyde Park, PA; four daughters, Anna M. Ausk (Robert), of West Leechburg, PA, Michele D. Zachar, of Gilpin Township, PA, Denise R. Pityk-Nayyar (Ajay), of Rochester, NY, and Janice K. Williams (Dave), of Gilpin Township, PA; grandchildren, Bobby Ausk, Greg Ausk, Jessica Ausk, Danielle Zalenski (Matthew), Clayton Pityk, Chase Pityk, Benjamin Ritchie, Jacob Ritchie, Matthew Williams, Neil Nayyar; great grandchildren, Abigail Ausk, Legend Ausk, Nino Zalenski, and Marion Zalenski; two brothers, Mike Skrot (Gloria), of East Vandergrift, PA, and Ed Skrot (Nancy), of Avonmore, PA; and four sisters, Helen Kuartek (Cornell), of Bentleyville, PA, Patricia Ausk (Raymond), of Gilpin Township, PA; Vicki Morlacci, of Apollo, PA, and Mary Ann Kominski, of Wisconsin.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Michael and Anna (Sobey) Skrot; her husband, John Pityk, on January 11, 2010, with whom she was married for 53 years; two brothers, George Skrot, and, in infancy, Stanley Skrot; and two sisters, Eleanor Painter, and Dorothy Zett.
