Beverly J. (Sproull) Ferrick, 82, of Gilpin Twp., PA, passed away on Friday, January 5, 2018 at West Haven Manor (Quality Life Services) in Washington Twp.

A daughter of the late Richard Henry Sproull and Alene Sara (Summerville) Sproull, she was born February 7, 1935, in Leechburg, PA.

Beverly was a homemaker and member of Christ the King Parish in Gilpin Twp.  She was a bowler with the Allegheny Ludlum Bowling League.  Beverly enjoyed cooking and doing craft projects.  She loved her dogs, Ozzy and Rocky.

Survivors include her husband of 57 years, James J. Ferrick Sr. of Gilpin Twp., PA; three sons, James J. Ferrick Jr. (Nicki) of Delmont, PA, Robert S. Ferrick of Gilpin Twp., PA, William S. Ferrick (Susie Walker) of Sacramento, CA; a daughter, Paulette J. Lege (Daniel) of West Leechburg, PA; six grandchildren, Mellisa Brown (Russ), Amanda Porter (Rich), Jamie Ferrick, Stephen Ferrick, Molly Ferrick, Noah Ferrick; two great-grandchildren, Brody and Chase Porter; three sisters, Betty L. Swank of Vandergrift, PA, Martha J. Huselton of Apollo, PA, Janet Feil of Leechburg, PA; a sister-in-law, Pauline Sproull of Lower Burrell, PA; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Richard H. Sproull Jr.; great-granddaughters, Emery Elizabeth Porter and Nelly Natalia Porter.

Friends welcomed by her family on Thursday, January 11, 2018 from 10 AM until the time of ceremonies at Noon at Clawson Funeral & Cremation Center, 170 Main Street, Leechburg (724-842-1051) with Pastor Susan Brown, Chaplain of QLS Apollo officiating.  Interment following at St. Catherine Cemetery, 614 Evergreen Road, Gilpin Twp. 

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Beverly may be made to Animal Protectors of Allegheny Valley, 533 Linden Ave., New Kensington, PA 15068.
